My first response is not “What should be the content of this conference”. Mathew saw what was needed ages ago. Social media is the (possible) bridge between conferences, and the silos of people saying the same things from different perspective, and most importantly in Europe, In a different language.
So lets look at the bridges needing to be built.
Identity is my focus for a generation. My interest is how a governmental confirmation of (a human) pulse, eidas; the federated ID used by most global students in their edu institutions, and commercial company’s IDs (mainly Microsoft) might between them, offer a more sociable/seamless way to access and share online stuff.
This is one session of large conference whose groups address the convergence of the first two (public sector) IDs. i.e. Government, and Research & Education institutions. The Atmosphere Community needs to understand them.
