Hello!

I have some evil plans for AtProto services that would benefit from their own VM to experiment with. Would it be possible to provision another VM from the shared Community Fund host? See: Shared VPS resources from the Community Fund - #10 by tgoerke.bsky.social

Something similar to our current VM would be plenty:

  • CPU: 4 vCPUs
  • Memory: 8 GiB
  • Disk 80 GB

Yes I think that’s ok although the memory might be a little high. Don’t know how many VMs we can support overall, and we should probably maintain a list somewhere.

I think I would need the memory right now, but it’d be very “bursty”, not under constant consumption (I don’t know how proxmox deals with this).

I’m also happy to give some back when needed, and if I can establish the project, I should be able to cover costs (or contribute to add more space for the collective).
