Additional Forum Guidelines
We will add a few forum specific guidelines from time to time.
Please use Individual Accounts
Many of the people in this space are actively building products, apps, and sites for which they have brand accounts representing them.
This is a space to encourage and support person to person collaboration, coordination, and promotion.
We ask that people login with an individual account rather than their brand account. This is not primarily a promotional space and there are many other areas (eg Bluesky) where brands can show up and interact with their own accounts.
Persistent pseudonyms using the same handle are fine - this is not a real names policy, but rather a desire to collaborate with individuals.
Professional Communications
Discussions can become heated on topics people are passionate about. We still expect a level of professional communication - we’re here to learn from each other and work on building shared systems.
Posts that are just meme reactions or other short form rapid replies are discouraged. Pause and write a longer response.
Please make a new post to Discourse Forum Meta if you have questions or comments.
