Cheese Community - Call for Co-Lead

I’ve been working on @cheese.community as a learning exercise in lexicon creation and some nuances around canonical data on protocol.

I’d like to have this stewarded under Lexicon Community - including the domain.

I’m looking for at least one other co-lead to work on this with me, as well as an app to use it with. Not co-leading but just “I’d like to follow along and learn” is totally fine too!

I haven’t built an app yet, and would focus on a web app / PWA.

  • The shape of this lexicon is a bit like check in apps and a bit like review apps.
  • What would it look like to combine this with some location / Beacon Bits style work? - e.g. optional “beacon” check in at various restaurant, delis, or cheese shops? (not yet in the lexicon, and don’t know if cheese info is appended to a checkin or vice versa)

This is a learning exercise. We’d want to fill out all the info for docs in Lexicon Garden and generally follow emerging practices.

I don’t have the spoons to co-lead, but would absolutely love to follow along and pitch in where I can (probably best thing I can offer is helping with the web app).

After I have a co-lead, we’d like to discuss donating the cheese.community to Lexicon Community. There aren’t any processes around the LC about this yet, so we’d like to use a low risk to practice our governance.
