I recently launched Meme Museum, a simple tool to help you manage a collection of memes and post them.
As I mentioned in the writeup post, I’m not actually a person who has my own meme collection or posts a lot of memes. It was more a case of “this is a thing that atproto makes possible. someone should do it” followed by deciding to do it myself for the learning experience.
I also wrote up a more technical post describing some of the features and to give credit to some awesome community services and tools that make it better.
It would be better if it helped you find memes that aren’t in your library yet. I welcome the excuse to implement an AppView but i want to think harder about the moderation questions that come up if other people can discover your memes, or if to avoid showing you memes you don’t want to see (porn, politics, etc)
